The Renovatiebeurs, or Renovation Fair, is an annual event in the Netherlands that brings together industry professionals, homeowners, and other stakeholders to share ideas and insights on the latest trends and innovations in the renovation sector. This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a wide range of informative and engaging sessions scheduled over the course of three days: May 23rd, 24th and 25th 2023.

Before we jump into what are our recommended highlights of the fair, in case you are still in a doubt whether or why should you attend the Renovation Fair, here are just a few reasons:

So now, let's jump into our selected highlights that attendees can look forward to:

One session on the schedule is a panel discussion titled "Transform obsolete real estate," which will take place on Day 1 at 11:00 am. This session will feature experts from across the industry, including Joost Thus and Sebastiaan Hameleers (Respace), Freek van Zeist (TheNewMakers) and Maarten Zwemmer (OMRT). They will share their insights on how you can find out, in a short time, whether real estate is promising for transformation.

Another highlight of the Renovation Fair is a workshop on "Sustainable renovation? Start Ventilating!" which will take place on Day 2 at 11:00 am. Given by Mark Kremers and Rutger Naber (Zehnder), the workshop focuses on energetic renovation and overflowing technology. Investigating questions such as 'Why is collaboration so important?' and 'How do you easily apply balanced ventilation in existing buildings?'. Answering questions like these will help achieve the ambitious targets set by the Climate Agreement for the construction and installation sector.

For those interested in making real estate more sustainable. There will be an intriguing is a workshop titled "Building physics risks in making facades more sustainable" which will take place on Day 3 at 12:30 pm. In this hands-on session, attendees will learn more about technical and building physics aspects to make sustainability a success for both the building owner and the user. This workshop will be led by Wouter van den Berg from Nebest.

We will be hosting a "Digitize your product" workshop each day from 11.00 - 11.30 at the Packhunt for Factories booth (1.B031). Everyone is welcome, especially if you are interested in reducing lead times and mistakes through technology. The live modelling demonstration will show you how easy it is to bring digitalisation into the renovation world.
